Connecticut’s Extreme Hot Weather Protocol to be activated effective at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, and remaining in effect through at least 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 2025.

Temperatures are expected to reach into the 90s and very humid conditions will push the heat index near or above 100 degrees.

Cooling centers will be available throughout the state. Anyone in need of a place to get out of the heat can locate their nearest cooling center by viewing the list that will be published online at 211ct.org or calling 2-1-1.

HOLIDAY CLOSURE NOTICE:

Please be advised, the Quinnipiack Valley Health District (QVHD) will be CLOSED on Monday, September 1st in observance of Labor Day.

QVHD will reopen Tuesday, September 2nd at 8:30 AM.
